Breakaway bollards

Breakaway bollards are a useful, functional and - in the long run - cost effective alternative to conventional barrier posts, especially along streets and open spaces deemed high-risk for accidents. In case of damage, only the inbuilt breaking point is affected. Foundation, pavement and the bollard itself are usually spared, except for some small scratches. Upon impact, the bollard, retained by a safety rope, falls to the side. By replacing the damaged breaking point, the bollard can be restored within a few minutes.

Breakaway bollards can be speedily removed with basic tools, offering a high degree of freedom for planning. Additional temporary space - needed for example for an upcoming gathering - can thus be created quickly on parking lots, fairgrounds or market squares. The ground sleeves are designed and fitted in such a way as to prevent the risk of stumbling. A cover protects the ground sleeve against dirt.
